Montessori Education Presentation

- Learn the major principles of a Montessori elementary education

- Understand how children can achieve greater academic success through this model

- Demonstration of hands-on Montessori "works" that provide a holistic approach for grasping and excelling in major concepts of academia at the elementary level.

John Fowler is a long-time authority on Montessori education and principles. He holds a PhD in Integral Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies. He has served as the Upper Elementary Director and Teacher Mentor at Denison Montessori School in Denver, Colorado since 1992. John began the American Montessori Academy in 1986, and served on the Boulder Valley School District's assessment and consultant team for the Boulder Community Montessori School. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Endicott College, the Director of Research at the Houston Montessori Center, and as an Instructor at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
